The membranes of the ATLAS Architecture line of the Sattler PRO-TEX brand are a new revolutionary and unique development in textile architecture:

1. ATLAS FABRIC

The distinctive feature of ATLAS membranes is the very smooth surface of the fabric. Thanks to a flat and uniform weave of the base fabric, a membrane with a particularly smooth and shiny surface is obtained.

2. ATLAS QUALITY

The PET yarn is coated with a thicker than normal PVC coating which protects it even better. The result is an extremely resistant membrane with a particularly extended useful life.

3. THE ATLAS ELASTIC BEHAVIOR

The warp and weft elongation of ATLAS fabrics is much more homogeneous than conventional membranes. In fact, the difference in elongation between warp and weft is not that marked. An ATLAS membrane stretches even more evenly in both directions, while maintaining excellent characteristics of flexibility and elasticity of the fabric, extremely important properties in the field of tensile structures.

4. ATLAS TENSILE STRENGTH

The higher density of the yarn guarantees greater tensile strength, up to 16% compared to a panama fabric.

5. THE NEW ATLAS LAQUER

The new lacquer of the ATLAS membranes offers increased resistance to UV rays, which positively influences the useful life of the membrane. The products of the ATLAS line are finished with TFL Lacquer (a multilayer coating with UV shield and weldable PVDF lacquer) or TFX Lacquer (multilayer coating with UV shield, new Hyper-PVDF lacquer on the top side and weldable PVDF lacquer on the underside) which ensure excellent product life.

6. ATLAS LOOK

The ATLAS membranes are whiter than conventional fabrics and have a beautiful shiny surface. The even surface of these high-quality fabrics ensures their elegant look and a homogeneous light transmission. The smooth surface hinders soiling, thus these fabrics are cleaner than conventional membranes.
